Pledge of Renewal

Please take a minute to read the Pledge of Renewal, a beautifully crafted document written by my fellow Patriots in RI. Send this pledge around the country, in hopes that it will revive American's hopes for a stronger United States of America, which is more closely aligned with that great nation for which our founding fathers pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.

A new Web site targeting the tea parties is a part of a complex network of money flowing from the mountainous coffers of the country's biggest labor unions and trickling slowly into political slush funds for Democratic activists.

What a can of worms.....you really don't mention the real problems in this country--you continue to miscategorize conservatism and you make no mention of the huge influence that Big Pharma, The Military Industrial Complex and Corporations in general have as a stranglehold on our government. They in fact have purchase the President and the Congress. You also fail to mention the real lack of freedom we have in this country as demonstrated by the Drug Laws which stifle freedom and imprison thousands unnecessarily, the bailouts of the bank, the FED (a private company) and your greatest sin of both your ridiculous 'Pledge' and of the Tea Party, is not to protest the SOURCE of the huge debt that is primarily borne from our misadventures of our military, big pharma and corporate ownership of our government. I find no emphasis on Peace in your party--you defer to 'the war on terrorism which is actually a pile of &*&*^*&^ and a tool of the MIC to keep us scared and spending. You make no mention of the fact that the Government has stolen Social Security to fund the debt and then blame future entitlements on Social Security--how fair ist that? Also: to be conservative means a lot more than waving a flag and telling everyone to be 'Christian' or Christian-like. I want real freedom. I want the real value of money and I want the government's money to be spent as if it were my own. In theory, your movement has some good values---it's when you throw the social messages of behavior and miss the source of all the philandering is when I have issues with your movement. I am in favor of real patriots such as Ron Paul and Barry Goldwater. You folks are hypocrites in the fact that on one side of your face you profess freedom and frugality, yet never truly address where it should be coming from....And sorry, if I was a muslim (which I'm not), I should feel free to practice my religion without a lot of right wing, christian haters telling me how to think! Now I'm not saying the Democrats are any good either---in fact, there really is but one party now in the U.S.---The Corporate Oligarchy---banks, the MIC, Big Pharma, Big Farming. The day of manufacturing and local economies (the real solution to our depression) will probably never arrive. Now let's see if you actually print my comments and allow others to respond.

I'm not a Conservative, hell I can't even call myself anything anymore! I disagree with them all! I'm not Christian and don't want to be grouped with them either! But I agree with what your letter said! I think we need to revolt against the government and re establish our Constitution. I'm totally outraged about Obama's rifle ban. How many street shootings involve a rifle? None!
I want to find a group I can agree with that is not Conservative/Liberal, Left or Right, Dem or Rep or even Lib. Where are they?????? Where are the people who aren't labeled who want to fight for our FREEDOM? How do we demand justice and insist on our Constitution being upheld when we are so divided?
