If dead people who were never on Social Security are getting Stimulus checks, then how do we know that living persons who are not entitled to these check are not getting them as well?

Checks

MYFOXNY.COM - This week, thousands of people are getting stimulus checks in the mail. The problem is that a lot of them are dead. A Long Island woman was shocked when she checked the mail and received a letter from the U.S. Treasury -- but it wasn't for her.
Antoniette Santopadre of Valley Stream was expecting a $250 stimulus check. But when her son finally opened it, they saw that the check was made out to her father, Romolo Romonini, who died in Italy 34 years ago. He'd been a U.S. citizen when he left for Italy in 1933, but only returned to the United Stated for a seven-month visit in 1969.
The Santopadres are not alone. The Social Security Administration, which sent out 52 million checks, says that some of those checks mistakenly went to dead people because the agency had no record of their death. That amounts to between 8,000 and 10,000 checks for millions of dollars.
The feds blame a rushed schedule, because all the checks have to be cut by June. The strange this is, some of the checks were made out to people -- like Romonini -- who were never even part of the Social Security system.

Let's see here, dead people getting some of our tax money. Now that is big government at its best. Yeah, we need more big government alright. This administration is like a cheap carnival. Step right up folks, the price of admission is only $20 Trillion to take a chance at getting $250 dollars! Be sure to ride the green rides, for only $3100 a year! Leave your guns, privacy, and freedom of speech at the door! Be sure to watch the "fork-tongued messiah morph into Lucifer in the house of horrors"! And, don't forget to give your kiddies a brown uniform on the way out!
And these are the people who will "manage" 17% of our economy under Obama's healthcare plan?
I am resigned to higher taxes, means testing of benefits and a higher age for Social Security eligibility. It is inevitable. However, before we go down that road, we need to focus like a laser beam on making govt more efficient and eliminating as much waste as possible. Voters will not accept effective tax rates > 50% when they see their hard-earned $$ wasted on big & inefficient government. The tea parties are a beginning and voters must speak out to their reps in Congress and to Obama. If they do not listen to us, we remove them from office and elect politicians who have the vision and courage to make the tough choices.
Apparently even the big 0 admits that our debt load is "unsustainable" but, in an effort to push his health care agenda, blames it on the health care industry.
