Lou Pritchett is one of corporate America's true living legends- an acclaimed author, dynamic teacher and one of the world's highest rated speakers. Successful corporate executives everywhere recognize him as the foremost leader in change management. Lou changed the way America does business by creating an audacious concept that came to be known as
"partnering." Pritchett rose from soap salesman to Vice-President, Sales and Customer Development for Procter and Gamble and over the course of 36 years, made corporate history.
AN OPEN LETTER TO:
Dear President Obama:
You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.
You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.
You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.
You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.
You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.
You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core.
You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.
You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.
You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America ' crowd and deliver this message abroad.
You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.
You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.
You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.
You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.
You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations.
You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.
You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.
You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.
You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.
You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.
You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.
Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.
Lou Pritchett
This letter was sent to the NY Times but they never acknowledged it. Big surprise. Since it hit the internet, however, it has had over 500,000 hits. Keep it going.
All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing. It's happening right now.

Nope, he does not scare me at all. But, the 180 million knuckleheads who can't see what he is doing to the Republic are a source of some consternation. He will win, if he runs, in 2012, precisely because of the poor and stupid people who have been voting for Democrats for the past five decades. (And News Flash: they are still poor and stupid).
He doesn't scare me necessarily, but he is certainly a serious threat to the basic well being of ever person in America.
Undertaker,
Being poor and being stupid are not synonymous. And being rich and intelligent aren't either. It's a false perception that Liberal supporters are poor while Conservative supporters are rich, if anything the reverse is true from what I've observed of the world.
Michelle:
What you see in my blog post is this:
Statistically the lower class masses have voted Democratic and don't have the brain power to understand the difference between a Democracy and a Republic. Ask some of them to explain supply and demand, or what the Federal Reserve is or does. You will get a "deer in the headlights" look every time. There is a large group of people who think the upper class owes them and that they do not have to work for what they get. Those are the numbers of people who will ally themselves with Obi-I-Won and don't know that he lies every time he opens his mouth. Without these minions and the community organizing of ACORN, we might have a chance to save the Republic. Unfortunately, I fear we will have to resort to the 2nd amendment ala' 1776. Period. We are not going to settle it at the ballot box...not with the balance of power having been destroyed, and not with 32 liberal czars outside the purview of Congress or the people, and certainly not with the mainstream media biased to the "one". If the EHA bills (Energy, Health and Amnesty) are passed, we will see the economy totally destroyed beyond recognition and another 13 million devoted followers carrying the banner for the "one".
Another right wing, uninformed person spouting off about how awful life is in America right now due to Obama. This is ridiculous as Obama is still trying to clean up what was left to him by Bush. At least he is working and bringing up issues that need to be dealt with. Who are we going to be bankrupt to? Countries that we have given trillions of dollars to in aid and that owe us many times more than we owe them???? Who cares if he is Islamic, doesn't this country allow freedom of religion? Shouldn't he try and make things better in the world instead of inflamming the world? And last time I checked he was in support of defending our country in Afghanistan where we should have been in the first place (thanks Bush)...
Also, does not 50% of the country support him right now? That is democratic, that is how the country was set up, so if we elected him (as a majority) then maybe we do want change. See definition of conservative (resistant to change). The right wing is built around conspiracy, fear, scare tactics, etc. The sky is falling; no it isn't... went outside today and things were fine. Open your eyes, the new generation wants diplomacy, it wants to make the world a better place..
And if he is not re-elected that is fine, because that is the beauty of this country and the 2 parties always balance each other and at least as a democrat I could admit this. How come most democrats can at least find several things that Bush did well, but Republicans like to twist and vilify even clearly positive acts???
So, if you don't like that America can elect in someone who wants change then leave.
Thank you Marty G.
You have confirmed the veracity of my posts. Good luck with your work with ACORN. You fit right in.
I guess there must be a lot of us "uninformed" people out there.

Well, it looks like a "couple of hundred" of the "potential right wing radical terrorists have gathered in Washington DC., today.
I just can't imagine what their problem might be.
Could it be that:
They don't like the Republic being destroyed and replaced by a Socialist State.
Marty - what was left to George W. Bush is a Presidency marred by corruption and immorality. Bush also inherited the most hostile Congress any President has ever had to work with. No other President has undergone such scathing attacks by the media and celebrities than has GWB. No other President has had to deal with multiple attacks on U.S. soil by our enemies like GWB had to deal with. It is no wonder then that Obama inherited a mess - but not of Bush's doing, rather that of Congress, the biased media, and clueless celebrities who influenced weak-minded Americans too lazy to seek the truth for themselves.
It's true that GWB is one of the most liberal Republican Presidents our nation has ever had. But GWB is a moral man of far greater character than that of his predecessor or his successor. History will vindicate George W. Bush and condemn the American people for their lack of vision and for placing their hope in change - even if that change destroys our nation.
