From the Michael Graham Show:
Natural Truth of the Day
³I was not intimidated during J. Edgar Hoover's FBI hunt for reporters like
me who criticized him. I railed against the Bush-Cheney war on the Bill of
Rights without blinking. But now I am finally scared of a White House
administration.²
--Liberal columnist (and Boston native) Nat Hentoff.
Scary times we are in folks. If you can't see it, taste it, hear it, smell it, and feel it, you are missing a sense.

Honor In Office is on your side. We are seeking accountability from our legislators DEMANDING that they read bills before passing them into law.

Americans must stand up to those who represent us before we can expect any form of REAL CHANGE.
honorinoffice.com is a good action and I support it whole heartedly as All American's should. I do think, however, it doesn't go quite far enough because the fundamental conflict that continues to play out in our government is fundamentally irreconcilable.... and it goes way beyond legislators not reading bills... the divide in America is between those of us who believe in the the Constitutional protection of "individual rights of each citizen" vs. those who want to reshape America into a "collectivist" society... that folks is at the root of all the problems we're having... the politicians who don't bother reading the bill already know which side they have decided to be on and if the bill helps drive the country towards "collectivism" (which gives them power because they get to dole out the goodies) or if it deos the constitutionally proper thing for America (which as we all know is always a much tougher road to go down for cheap power hungry sound-bite politicians.... we need to take back the country piece by piece by educating Americans on our founding... it's a tough long road back but back we must go!
