The progressives and hard left cannot understand history or facts concerning the utter failures of Socialism. This film is something they could not possibly understand. For those who value individual freedoms, it should be a wake up call. For the mainstream media, it is an indictment.

I respectfully disagree the left does not understand... progressives (marxists, collectivists, elitests, statists, leftists.... take you're pick)know exactly what they are doing! They want to transform America into a collectivist society at the expense of individual liberty.. this way they become the "ruling class" by making the rest of us the "entitlement class" under their rule.... this is not a cynical outlook, it is the truth.... you need not look too far beyond the arrogant elitest behaviors from the president to the speaker and all those in congress advacating more spending and government control "in the name of great causes" and enslaving the rest of America by using their endless line up of faux catastrophies so they frighten folks into relinquishing control because "they will take our worries away".... and in the process take away our liberty!

Anonymous, we are really on the same page. The progressives have not had the opportunity to experience life in a socialist country. They are idealists who pursue a theoretical utopia that has proven completely elusive in every attempt at socialist "equality". It always ends up with equal suffering. The film is something they cannot understand because they do not see where they are really taking the country, and won't understand what happened when they do get there.
