Here We Go, Down the Rabbit Hole

Do you sometimes feel like you are in Alice in Wonderland, moving through an inexplicably strange new world run by nuts? Every day there is some news that knocks me off my seat and I think "This has got to be a dream. This can't really be happening". But it is happening, and nobody is doing anything to stop it. Just like Alice, America is shrinking, shrinking, shrinking, and away we go, down the rabbit hole .

"The G20 moves the world a step closer to a global currency
The world is a step closer to a global currency, backed by a global central bank, running monetary policy for all humanity.

By Ambrose Evans-Pritchard
A single clause in Point 19 of the communiqué issued by the G20 leaders amounts to revolution in the global financial order.
"We have agreed to support a general SDR allocation which will inject $250bn (£170bn) into the world economy and increase global liquidity," it said. SDRs are Special Drawing Rights, a synthetic paper currency issued by the International Monetary Fund that has lain dormant for half a century.

In effect, the G20 leaders have activated the IMF's power to create money and begin global "quantitative easing". In doing so, they are putting a de facto world currency into play. It is outside the control of any sovereign body. Conspiracy theorists will love it.
It has been a good summit for the IMF. Its fighting fund for crises is to be tripled overnight to $750bn. This is real money.

What is also so astonishing is how quickly this is all going down. This has (obviously) been in the planning for years and those that picked Obama to be their puppet, clearly picked the right guy as he moves from one issue to the next while chipping away at our Constitution and our country. My other growing concern is that 2012 will be too long to wait for changes; we won't recognize this place by then.

In order to understand what is going on, and the real forces at work, two books are really the keys. First is "The Post-American World" by Fareed Zakaria. The second is "Limits to Growth" (The Thirty Year Update). Globalization is a fact now that other nations have "moved up" to an industrial par with the US. The depletion of resources of the planet, as the population spirals out of control, dictates that a global solution be reached. It will take compromise and cooperation on a level hitherto never seen on the planet.
Barack has read Zakaria's book. Scientists have been expressing their concerns since 1974 for the potential collapse of the food production capability of the planet relative to the projected population. Unless a plan for sustainability is forthcoming, and mutually agreed to, the alternative may be something approaching "Armageddon".
All that is not to say that the internal political shenanigans of honest Obe are palatable, but it may help understand some of the strange behavior on the international political stage.

What the heck is going on with all this talk about global currency?

If we have a monetary system that is the same in all countries, where would the competition be?

What would drive the economy?

I am no mathematician or economist, but this does not sound good at all!

GA. It is all fairly complicated and for the most part, being done under the table. With a NWO (New World Order), a single World Government, and Single Currency, everything could be controlled by one power. You can imagine how that would play out in 2050 when the population would have to be "limited and controlled". Brings back the haunting specter of Hitler and Germany, doesn't it. Obe, is just positioning the US to be compliant with all the maneuvering that will take place to make that NWO gradually take form. Weaken the US economy, become less of a threat to China and Russia, continue to be dependent on Middle East oil, little things like that. Nothing to worry about. Right?

Everything is being pushed through so quickly, so we cannot focus on it all.

Many people are discussing Rand's Atlas Shrugged. I recommend Anthem. When people are lost and confused in the dark, they're always grateful for some direction...they don't question the direction because they like to believe the promise that it will lead to a better place. By the time they awake, it's too late.
