Please CONTACT YOUR CONGRESSMEN
(http://www.congress.org/congressorg/directory/congdir.tt)and urge them to SUPPORT “HR 1207 The FEDERAL RESERVE TRANSPARENCY ACT of 2009″ and insist on a ROLL CALL VOTE on the bill. This may the most important positive legislation towards truly fixing our economy. The bill, sponsored by Ron Paul and co-sponsored by at least 28 others, is in congress right now. The Fed refuses to give a public accounting of the trillions in recent taxpayer-backed loans, and the American people
deserve to know how their tax dollars are being spent and their currency inflated. The Fed has been shrouded in secrecy too long which allows for abuse. Hold the Fed accountable, auditable and transparent. Any politician that doesn’t support this bill doesn’t deserve to be re-elected in 2010.
If you want the government to be accountable, this is the way to do it.
Want to know where all the money went, this is the way to do it.

I have passed that to everyone in my address book. It is good to see some action going in the right direction. If that passes, it is going to really put some frost on Obama and his gang of thieves. It will be an uphill battle. Those who vote against the bill will go right to the top of my "Pelosi" list.
Even though I have serious misgivings about Ron Paul, I sure hope he is on the right track here.
To be honest, Ron Paul subscribes way to much to the liberal side of things for my taste . . . Well, I did say that I am a radical conservative.
I just e-mailed my senators and congressman about this.Thank you for the info!
GA; While Ron Paul may not be the best brain surgeon in the "hospital" he will do for the job at hand. We have a tumor to remove and if Paul can help, we'll use him. Later, we need to drain the congressional swamp and get rid of the alligators. Once that is done we will find a good Dam builder and set things straight. We need all the help we can get right now.
Navymom, thanks for taking action. We need more people who want to be able to stand tall, after this fight is over, and say "I did my part, and am glad I did."
Yes, UT and GA, the critical point to this legislation is not who is sponsoring it, but what it will accomplish. My guess is that the Fed is hiding something, and this is a way to find out what's going on behind the scenes.
ok, Mad Mom, I'm on the case. I'll be writing those weasels - again! (and again and again)
