Latest Fashion Trend in Mug Shots

I realize it's hard to see some of the T-shirts worn by this fine crowd, but guess what they all have in common? That's right, they are all Obama supporters. When was the last time you saw a mug shot with someone wearing a Bush T-shirt?

You righties are wasting your time yapping about Obama, etc. Let’s face it…you lost and we won. We’ve got the Executive, the Senate and the House now and we expect to finally do things for this country that will make us respected around the world once again. You traditional conservatives have lost your way and we now will have our chance to show you how to lead. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

SP66, I don't you think you get it. It's not you and we, it's "WE The People." That's what makes this country great, the freedom which allows for open discourse and dissent, no matter who's in charge. So We will not sit back should we suspect that the freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution are being taken away. That includes the freedom to pursue happiness via our own efforts and endeavors within the rights of the law, as opposed to those who simply prefer that the government take care of them. And make no mistake, SP66, we will thoroughly enjoy watching the Democrats "own" what transpires in the next few years.

MadMom...i am left leaning centrist and agree with your comments for the most part. No voices should be subverted in a true open society. That said, what is the point of this post? Isn't it intellectually dishonest to put a random collection of shots like this together. The insinuation is obvious, that somehow Obama supporters are criminals. Crime is complicated, so is education, so is tax policy etc. If we want to talk about crime we have to talk about making sure our fine police force is well trained and have the equipment they need. As much as conservatives hate when liberals say this, we also have to talk about economic conditions in high-crime areas and overall education in this country. I met a guy once that gave up his lucrative practice to work on government grants teaching entrepreneurial skills to inner city youth. I'm not saying that's the answer, but again, the issues are complicated and require a lot of new ideas. Posts like this demean the intelligence of the American public.

I'm no Obama fan, but to be fair I'm concerned that the impression you're trying to make is that Obama fans are more likely to be criminals. But, based on some of the identical backdrops in the images, I'd venture to guess that many if not all of these people were arrested at some sort of political rally.

If you want to be fair (and have more credibility), then do a random sampling of all arrest photos from all political rallys, then count the Obama shirts vs. McCain shirts or something like that.

Ouch, guys, this was not meant to be a serious commentary on Obama supporters. Many of my friends support him wholeheartedly. Frankly, I was expecting someone to come back with the question, "Hey, Madmom, when was the last time you say ANYONE wearing a Bush T-shirt?"
But thanks for your input- always appreciated and noted.

I am not a conservative politician, I am a conservative citizen.

I didn't lose my way as a conservative citizen; the "conservative" politicians did.

As for leadership, well, that's a matter of opinion (as are most things.)

Thanks Anon for the feedback.
You allowed your politicians to lose your way. They did you in.
Democrats took charge and organized (with a little help from our media friends). It was actually quite easy, thank you
